Allen Southern Properties, Ltd. was founded by Matt Allen with the mission of providing excellent land brokerage services in the Metro Atlanta area and throughout Georgia.

At Allen Southern Properties it is our goal to help landowners and real estate developers reach their goals by helping to determine the highest and best potential use of their property. Our services include invaluable research and resources based on the principles of best possible use. This process includes identifying utility locations such as current sewer and water locations, knowledge of the existing zoning of a property as well as understanding the future land use plan that could allow for a potential rezoning, and understanding current new home prices and recent land sales transactions.

Allen Southern Properties, Ltd. focuses its energy and resources on the brokering of residential land, residential developed building lots, commercial land, timberland, recreational land, and farm land.

Matthew Allen - Founder

Matt Allen is a native of Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Finance in 2000. Immediately thereafter, he began his real estate career in Atlanta, serving as the controller for an Atlanta volume home builder where he acquired expertise in the financial functions of homebuilding.

In 2002, Matt shifted his efforts to land brokerage and has serviced Metro Atlanta and Northwest Georgia as a licensed land broker. Matt was trained and mentored by Skip Harper, a highly respected and successful broker and developer, who taught him the essentials of servicing both landowners and land developers. Matt gained valuable experience in implementing a systematic approach to selling land. He specializes in residential and commercial development land sales in the Cherokee, Cobb, Fulton, and Paulding market areas, as well as recreational and timberland properties throughout Georgia.  Matt has closed over 100 land and bulk lot transactions totaling more than $100 Million. He has represented local and national homebuilders and real estate developers, regional and national banks, and landowners ranging from individuals selling their family's generational land assets to large timberland and natural resource companies with vast land holdings.
